Donald Trump Shares Photo of Jeb Bush Beside a Swastika

A photo collage reportedly appeared on presidential hopeful Donald Trump's Twitter account that showed rival Jeb Bush and family beside the Nazi symbol.

Donald Trump reportedly reposted a photo that showed the Bush family beside a swastika.

It was one of many photos posted in a Jeb-bashing collage by one of the billionaire presidential candidate's followers late Tuesday night. Another photo in the collage showed Jeb Bush dressed as a mariachi.

Trump soon deleted the tweet. His campaign said he didn't notice the swastika when he reposted.

"This was retweeted by Mr. Trump like hundreds of others," Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks told Business Insider. "He did not see the accompanying image and the retweet has since been deleted."

The original poster appears to be Twitter user @AndreaWeslien, whose account features many posts about immigration, Trump's signature campaign issue.

"ADIOS, JEB aka JOSÉ," reads the original post. Jeb Bush is married to a Mexican-American woman and has, at times, appeared to support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

@AndreaWeslien's tweet also appeared to poke fun at Bush for his continued slump in the polls.

The most recent Quinnipiac University survey puts Jeb's post-debate poll numbers at an all-time low.

Among Republican voters, Bush is polling near the bottom with just four percent of the likely vote.

Trump, on the other hand, is at the top of the heap with 24 percent of the vote among likely Republican voters.

Millimeters behind Trump was retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, with 23 percent.
