NBC Pulls Trump 'SNL' Promo After He Calls Ben Carson 'A Total Loser'

After Donald Trump called Ben Carson 'a loser' in an 'SNL' promo, NBC yanked it from the air.

NBC has pulled the plug on a Saturday Night Live promo that teased Donald Trump's appearance this weekend. It featured the billionaire taking aim at one of his political rivals.

Cast member  says in the spot: “Because of equal time rules for candidates, Mr. Trump can only speak for four seconds in this promo.”

Trump then said: “So let me just say this, Ben Carson is a complete and total loser.”

It was pulled along with two others from YouTube.

The network's national correspondent Peter Alexander tweeted:

Five other promos featuring Trump and Strong were left up.

Not everyone is pumped up for Trump's hosting duties. Hispanic groups protested Wednesday night outside NBC headquarters, calling on the network to "Dump Trump" because of his controversial remarks on immigration.

One protestor said: “He's called us rapists, drug dealers, criminals, and that's extremely offensive to us.”

Ben Carson is another one who thinks his GOP rival’s hosting gig isn't funny.

“I think the presidency of the United States is a very serious thing,” he told Bloomberg Politics. “I don’t even want to begin to put it in the lightness of comedy.”
