A special education teacher is letting each student know just how valued they are by starting each day by complimenting every child.

Chris Ulmer, a special education teacher at Mainspring Academy in Jacksonville, Florida, posted a video to his Facebook group showing him dishing out compliments for 10 minutes.

He tells one student: "I love having you in my class. I think you're very funny. You're a great soccer player. Everyone in here loves you."

He finishes the compliments by telling them: "Thanks for being a great student!"

One of the boys tells him: "You're the greatest teacher ever."

On his Facebook page, Ulmer, who has been teaching the kids for three years, wrote that he's seen the kids' confidence "skyrocket" since complimenting them each day.
