Sandra Bullock has adopted a daughter.
The 51-year-old Oscar winner has welcomed three-year-old Laila, who was a foster child in Louisiana, into her family. It comes five years after she adopted her first child, Louis.
She revealed the big news in a People magazine cover story entitled "Meet My Little Girl."
The actress told the magazine: "The exact right children came to me at the exact right time."
She said she started considering another adoption about three years ago when her son told her: "I’m gonna have a baby soon. I don't know its name yet, but it's coming."
“They were meant to be together,” Sandra told the magazine. "It's like they have always been together."
The Blind Side actress and her children posed for photos taken by her boyfriend, photographer Bryan Randall. The cover shot shows only the back of Laila while Louis’ face is also partially hidden.
Sandra told People she's thrilled to have a daughter:
"There is pink and glitter in the house mixed with Legos and Batmans. And finally I know every lyric to Frozen,” she said.
When Laila first came to live with her Sandra says the little girl was “scared,” so she slept on the floor next to her bed for those first few nights, grasping the little girl's hand so she could fall asleep.
