Golden Globe Nominations Are Announced: See The List Here

The nominations for the 73rd Golden Globes are in!

The Golden Globe nominations were announced on Thursday morning in Hollywood.

Dennis Quaid, Angela Bassett, Chloe Grace Moretz and America Ferrera all got up early to reveal the nominations.

Best Picture Drama nominations were Spotlight, Carol, The Revenant, Mad Max Fury Road, The Room.

For the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy: The Big Short, The Martian, Spy, Trainwreck and Spy.

For Best Actor - Drama the nominees were Leonardo DiCaprio for The Revenant, Michael Fassbender for his portrayal of Steve Jobs, Bryan Cranston for Trumbo, Will Smith for Concussion and Eddie Redmayne for his portrayal of a transgendered woman in The Danish Girl.

Best Actress – Drama the nominees were Cate Blanchett for Carol, Brie Larson for Room, Rooney Mara for Carol, Saoirse Ronan for Brooklyn and Alicia Vikander for The Danish Girl.

On the television side, Best Series – Drama nominees were Game of Thrones, Empire, Mr. Robot, Narcos and Outlander.

Best Series – Musical or Comedy were Orange is the New Black, Silicon Valley, Veep, Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle and Casual.

Best Actor – Drama for the small screen were Liev Schreiber for Ray Donovan, Jon Hamm for Mad Men, Rami Malek for Mr. Robot, Wagner Moura for Narcos and Bob Odenkirk for Better Call Saul.

Best Actress – Drama for TV were Robin Wright for House of Cards, Eva Green for Penny Dreadful, Viola Davis for How to Get Away with Murder, Caitriona Balfe for Outlander and Taraji P. Henson for Empire.

Best Actor for TV Comedy were Aziz Ansari for Master of None, Gael Garcia Bernal for Mozart in the Jungle, Rob Lowe for The Grinder, Patrick Stewart for Blunt Talk, Jeffrey Tambor for Transparent.

Best Actress for TV Comedy were Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep, Gina Rodriguez for Jane the Virgin, Rachel Bloom for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Lily Tomlin for Grace and Frankie and Jamie Lee Curtis for Scream Queens.

Lady Gaga who got a nomination for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel tweeted:

I apologize to my neighbors I'm still screaming in my apt in NY! I'm nominated as an actress for a Golden Globe what a dream is this real!

Ricky Gervais will return to host the Golden Globes on Sunday, January 10.
