Republican frontrunner Donald Trump released his medical records Monday, which carried a crowing prediction from his personal physician:
“If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
Trump, 69, is in “excellent health,” said Dr. Harold Bornstein of New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital. Bornstein has been Trump’s doctor for 39 years, he said.
The hotel baron’s blood pressure was 110/65, a reading Bornstein said was “astonishingly excellent.”
Trump has lost 15 pounds in the past year, and takes aspirin daily, as well as a low dose of statin, which helps lower cholesterol.
