An Early Christmas Gift! Soldier Surprises 6-Year-Old Daughter at School

Little Olivia couldn't believe it when her dad surprised her at school after a year away from home.

One kindergartner happily joined in a winter singalong with the rest of the kids at her West Des Moines elementary school when she got the surprise of a lifetime.

Six-year-old Olivia Grubbs had no idea her soldier dad was hiding with her little sister, four-year-old Lilliana, only feet away.

Once Olivia saw him, she can't believe her daddy was home from where after being stationed in Hawaii.

He asked her: "Did I surprise you?" She of course nodded.

It's a holiday surprise she'll never forget.
