Black Lives Matter Protesters Attempt to Shut Down Airport

Black Lives Matter protesters took to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in an attempt to 'shut it down.'

Some protestors with the Black Lives Matter movement headed to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Wednesday in a reported attempt to “shut it down.”

The organization congregated at the Mall of America before getting on light rail trains that headed to the airport.

Once at the airport, groups of protesters gathered at the terminals, with some blocking traffic on the highway.

Traffic into the airport was reportedly at a standstill, as hoards of cars took to the roads for holiday travel.

Black Lives Matter tweeted two people were arrested at the airport and it appeared no one had been arrested at the shopping mall.
