Mom Arrested For Tattooing 'Ride or Die' on 12-Year-Old Son's Hand: Police

It is believed the mother completed the tattoos in their home in November 2015, police said.

A New York woman was arrested after police say she tattooed her children’s hands with phrases and designs, including the term “Ride or Die.”

Chantilly Thomas, 34, allegedly used a tattoo gun to ink her 12- and 13-year-old sons on the backs of their hands, according to the Chautauqua Sheriff’s Office.

Police who were called to check on the well-being of the children on December 31, 2015 said they found the youngest boy had “Ride or Die” permanently written on the back of his hand.

His older brother had a lightning bolt tattooed in the same place on his body, officials said.

“The suspect is not licensed to perform tattooing in any state in the United States,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement.

It is believed the mother completed the tattoos in their home in November 2015, police said.

Thomas was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the second degree.

She was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court in the City of Jamestown on January 20.
