The body of a California woman was found last week after months inside a car in a Walmart parking lot.
Employees at the Salinas discount store discovered the body of Lauren Jessie Moss on Feb. 3.
The 22-year-old was last seen alive Nov. 13, the same day she left a drug rehab facility, KSBW reports.
According to Salinas police, the windows of Moss's Volkswagen Jetta were tinted and she had a sunshade covering the dashboard, making it difficult to see in the car.
Investigators viewed surveillance footage from the Walmart, which went back only as far as early December.
However, the silver Volkswagen could be seen in the footage parked in the same spot where Moss's body was found.
Authorities have not released a cause of death, but said they do not suspect homicide.
Salinas police believe she likely took her own life and her family confirmed to reporters that Moss left a note behind for them to find.
Police said a needle was discovered in her car.
