Soft-Core Porn Actress Who Starred in Dropped Cruz Ad: I'd Still Vote For Him

Amy Lindsay spoke to INSIDE EDITION after the campaign dropped its video because of her background.

A campaign commercial is creating a huge headache for Ted Cruz because the actress in the ad has appeared in soft-core porn films.

Actress Amy Lindsay is speaking out exclusively to INSIDE EDITION.

"The things I said in the campaign I believe. I am a conservative person, fiscally. Socially, I am a bit more liberal, obviously," she said.

The actress has starred in soft-core porn films with titles such as Erotic Confessions and Passion Lane. She’s also appeared in many mainstream movies and TV shows.

After her film history was revealed by Buzzfeed, the embarrassed Cruz campaign pulled the ad, which attacked Senator Marco Rubio.

Even though the ad has been dropped she told IE she would still vote for Cruz should he get the nomination.

A Cruz spokesperson says “the actress responded to an open casting call. Unfortunately, she was not vetted by the production company. Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the ad.”

Lindsay said: "I did speak to them and they said they picked me based on talent and merit. I was the best person who nailed the audition and I got the job."

She expressed disappointment on Twitter that the ad was pulled:
