The parents of the child, Mary and Curtis, spoke to INSIDE EDITION today about the encounter.

Mary said: "Donald Trump was so excited to see him."

The family patriarch said that the campaign has now swayed him to vote for the real estate mogul.

"We were undecided until the rally," he said. "We like what he is saying and we think he will do good for this country."

Donald Trump told the crowd in Louisiana that he's swearing off using foul language on the campaign trail.

He declared: “I'll never do it again, actually, and I’ll never even copy somebody, what they ask me to say, right?”

Twenty minutes later he said of GOP rivals: “I just hope you don't believe their crap. Because it's all crap.”
