A 13-year-old girl is being charged as an adult in the armed robbery of a pizza delivery man, police said.
Damaria Phillips walked up to the delivery man's car, pointed a gun and demanded money, according to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department.
The driver did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
The girl shot the driver after he turned over his money, police said. She faces charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault, and is being held at a juvenile detention center, police spokeswoman Darnisha Green told INSIDE EDITION.
Further details were not available. "That's all the information we have at the moment," Green said.
