Sex Assault Survivors From Lady Gaga's Oscars Performance: 'It Was This Moment of Solidarity'

A moment no one will forget.

Everyone is still talking about the most powerful moment from the Oscars— the image of Lady Gaga surrounded by survivors of campus sex abuse as she performed her Oscar-nominated song “Til It Happens to You.”

Annie Clark and Andrea Pino, two of the brave women who joined Lady Gaga on stage, spoke to INSIDE EDITION about the moment. 

Pino said: “She told us ‘Make them feel your pain’ and that's what was going on onstage.”

“It was this incredible moment of solidarity,” Clark said.

“It was about this huge statement we were making and knowing people in the Oscars, there in the audience and those at home, were affected by it.”

After her performance, Gaga posted backstage shots of her with the survivors to Instagram.
