Witness: Hotel Exec Watched Erin Andrews' Nude Video at Restaurant After Court

According to a witness, the exec watched the video with two friends over dinner.

An attorney representing a hotel ownership group denies showing the peephole video of sportscaster Erin Andrews at a Nashville restaurant.

Neal Peskind said in a statement he was having dinner with two friends when they began showing the naked video. He said he asked them to turn it off.

Peskind, a lawyer for West End Hotel Partners, testified earlier this week in Andrews' $75 million negligence suit against the Vanderbilt Marriott, where a stalker videotaped her changing clothes through a rigged peephole.

The Fox television personality claims the hotel gave stalker Michael Barrett her room number, and allowed him to book the room next to hers.

Defense attorneys released a statement Wednesday, but misspelled Peskind's name.

"Last night, Mr. Peskin (sic) and two of his friends, a husband and wife, were having dinner, and the friends brought the video up on their phone, to which he objected and immediately asked them to stop.

"The video was then turned off. We don't make light of this situation. Ms. Andrews was the victim of a crime, which has been our position from the beginning and is the reason Mr. Peskin (sic) asked his friends to stop the video. Other comments attributed to Mr. Peskin (sic) surrounding this conversation never occurred," the statement said, according to WSMV-TV.

Andrews, in emotional testimony this week, said the video, which was uploaded to the Internet and seen by millions, had permanently damaged her life.

Barrett was sentenced to 30 months in prison in 2009 after pleading guilty to secretly taping Andrews, who was working for ESPN at the time.

In a statement to INSIDE EDITION, Peskind said: "I was at a private dinner meeting with friends. They brought up the allegations, and they started viewing the video. I asked them to stop, and while they did so, it was not as quickly as I had hoped. This incident has been blown into something it was not. I would never disrespect Ms. Andrews and what she has been through. This is a very unfortunate situation that should not be a reflection on West End Hotel Partners or to our commitment to the issues in this case surrounding what happened to her. I sincerely apologize for my participation in what happened."
