Tim Remington was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside the Altar Church in Coeur d'Alene Sunday afternoon.
An Idaho pastor was shot multiple times Sunday just hours after leading a prayer at a Ted Cruz for President rally.
Police say Tim Remington, 55, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the back around 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Altar Church in Coeur d'Alene.
Remington, a pastor at the church, was reportedly speaking to authorities as he was rushed to an area hospital and is expected to recover.

He founded the church with his wife, with whom he has four children.
Members of the church gathered Sunday to pray, not only for their leader, but also for the still at-large gunman.
Coeur d'Alene police have identified the alleged attacker as Kyle Andrew Odom.
According to a police statement, Odom is at large and driving a silver 2004 Honda. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
The 30-year-old is a retired Marine, according to a LinkedIn profile associated with his name.

Remington had led a prayer for presidential hopeful Ted Cruz as the conservative Christian candidate was poised to celebrate his primary victory in Kansas.
“Our prayers are with Pastor Tim, his family, and the doctors who are supervising his care,” Catherine Frazier, a spokeswoman for the campaign, told NBC News. “We pray for his full recovery and are thankful for the efforts of law enforcement to ensure the attacker is swiftly brought to justice.”
Police did not say whether the shooting was connected to Remington's prayer for Cruz.
