Opposing Softball Teams Have Dug-Out Dance-Off While Their Game Was Delayed by Rain

The game was paused due to the rain, but the competition really began when the California Bears challenged the UCLA Bruins to a dance-off.

A college softball game was rained out, but the competition didn't end there. The women from the opposing teams instead erupted into a dance-off to Rihanna's "Work".

The UCLA Bruins were playing against the California Golden Bears in their second game in the Pacific-12 Conference, after the Bruins had won the first game 3-2 during both team's opening weekend.

Since their game was paused due to the rain, the Bears challenged the Bruins to another competition from the dug out: a dance-off.

Christina Ferrante, founder of WSN247, told InsideEdition.com that she was in the UC Berkeley dug-out when the dance-off first broke out.

"[The Bears] were going to start it, and see if UCLA would go back and forth," Ferrante said.

The opposing teams can be seen breaking out their best moves as they waited for the rain to subside.

Ferrante said even though the two teams are not necessarily softball rivals, "now they have a rivalry for dancing."

The Sunday game was cancelled until Monday, but was postponed once again due to the rain. It is now unclear when the teams will go head to head again.

"It looks like the Bears battled back with a dancing win on Sunday," WSN247 reported.
