A Disneyland employee was found dead this week inside a haunted house attraction.
Officials at Disneyland Paris say a 45-year-old employee was found fatally electrocuted in the Phantom Manor attraction on Saturday.
The employee is believed to have been working on lighting at the attraction when tragedy struck, SkyNews reports.
While the park remains open, Phantom Manor is expected to be closed until Wednesday or later while police investigate the death.
In a statement, the park said: "We are truly saddened to learn of the passing of one of our Cast Members, and our hearts go out to his family and friends during this very difficult time."
Disneyland union rep Patrick Maldidier told Le Parisien that the victim was very popular and "always had a smile on his face."
Officials have not named the victim, who had reportedly worked at the park since 2002.
