Sarah Palin Slammed by Former Advisor

A former top advisor to the 2008 McCain/Palin campaign is speaking out about Sarah Palin, and what it was like to work with Mama Grizzly. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

"Bitter." "Prickly." "Cynical." Those are the scathing words being used to describe Sarah Palin, by a former top aide.

Nicole Wallace, a Senior Advisor for the 2008 McCain/Palin campaign, appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe and lashed out at Palin, saying, "I think her nature has been revealed lately as very prickly, very cynical."

"Her incredible cynicism, her bitterness, her aggressive attempts to claw anyone that points out an area to work on. I think these things will continue to reveal herself," continued Wallace.

Joe Scarborough, a former Republican Congressman himself, just wrote an op-ed on politico.com urging Republican leaders to go after Palin.

"The same leaders who fret that Sarah Palin could devastate their party in 2012 are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private. It's time for the GOP to man up," Scarborough wrote.

Wallace and Palin had a notoriously turbulent relationship during the 2008 election, and she took the blame for Palin's $150,000 wardrobe makeover fiasco.

"If it looked like she were about to become the nominee, or heaven forbid, the leader of the free world, a whole lot of people would stand up and say a whole lot of things," said Wallace.
