Country and pop music collided in one of the most talked about performances of the CMT Music Awards when Little Big Town and Pharrell performed together.

Carrie Underwood won big at Wednesday night's awards in Nashville, taking home two belt buckle trophies.

The 33-year-old, who has a 1-year-old daughter, showed off her body in a variety of dresses, including a sexy sheer bodysuit when she performed her new single "Church Bells."

A vast selection of outfits was the theme of the night as co-host Erin Andrews wore four sexy dresses during the broadcast.

Blake Shelton won the first-ever “Social Superstar Award” for his social media prowess.

He said in his speech: "I have a few drinks and get on Twitter once in a while. I didn't know you could get paid for that, but damn!"

Shelton went stag to the show, as girlfriend Gwen Stefani did not attend.
