Maples posted a photo taken with Tiffany and her boyfriend, Ross Mechanic. She captioned the picture with: "Just before I did my happy proud mamma dance! Backstage w/ @TiffanyTrump after she rocked her speech with grace and that amazing smile."

As the moments were leading up for Tiffany to take the stage, Maples posted photos of her daughter through the day to promote the big speech.

She even posted backstage video of Tiffany getting ready.

The honored mom beamed with excitement all night in support of her daughter.

Maples married Donald Trump in 1993, that same year Tiffany was born. The union between Trump and Maples lasted six years.

She made front-page news after she was quoted telling a friend that sex with The Donald was "the best sex I’ve ever had" when the two had an affair in 1990.

Maples retreated to Los Angeles to raise Tiffany after the divorce, and has said that Trump did not play a big role in raising her. But Tiffany has since moved east to attend college and has gotten closer to her dad, as well as her half-brothers and half-sister.

In 2013, Maples appeared on Oprah: Where Are They Now? and said: "I still love Donald. I love Eric and Ivanka and Donnie so much."
