Elizabeth Banks Parodies Trump's RNC Entrance as She Joins Stars Backing Hillary Clinton

'The Hunger Games' star compared him to her character in the successful franchise.

There was something familiar about Elizabeth Banks' entrance to the DNC stage Tuesday night.

The Hunger Games star walked out to Queen’s “We Are The Champions” as she appeared at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, a parody of Donald Trump’s backlit stage entrance in Cleveland last week.

The actress even compared Trump to her Hunger Games character, the evil Effie Trinket.

“A cruel, out-of-touch reality TV star who wears insane wigs while delivering long-winded speeches to a violent dystopia,” she said. “So when I tuned into Cleveland last week, I was like, ‘hey, that's my act!’”

Lena Dunham walked up to the podium with actress America Ferrera.

“Hi, I’m Lena Dunham and according to Donald Trump, my body is probably like a two,” the Girls creator said.

“I'm America Ferrera, I’m probably a rapist,” the actress, whose parents are from Honduras, said in a swipe at Trump's past comments about Mexican immigrants.

Oscar winner Meryl Streep was also in attendance. She spoke about the struggle women have faced in American history and praised Hillary Clinton for breaking the glass ceiling.

The Deer Hunter actress said: “What does it take to be the first female anything? It takes grit, and it takes grace. Hillary Clinton has taken some fire over 40 years of her fight for families and children.

"How does she do it? That's what I want to know. Where does she get her grit and grace? Where do any of our female firsts, our path makers, where do they find that strength?"

“Nearly 100 years after women got the vote, you people have made history," the Suffragette actress added. "And you’re going to make history again in November because Hillary Clinton will be our first woman president, and she will be a great president. And she will be the first in a long line of women, and men, who serve with grit and grace. She'll be the first, but she won’t be the last."
