Actress Debra Messing has apologized to singer Blake Shelton after letting her political "passions" got the best of her following his praise of Donald Trump.
The Will & Grace star lashed out at Shelton for telling Billboard magazine: "Whether you love him [Trump] or hate him, he says what he thinks, and he has proven that you don't always have to be so afraid."
Messing tweeted to his girlfriend Gwen Stefani: “Omg. How? @gwenstefani please talk to your man to not vote for the person who will strip you of your rights.”
Shelton responded: "I haven't [endorsed] anybody for president. And [I’m] not going to."
