INSIDE EDITION sits down with one Tucson shooting victim who actually wants to apologize to the parents of gunman Jared Loughner.
In an extraordinary act of forgiveness, another victim of the massacre actually visited the parents of accused gunman Jared Lee Loughner.
"I thought I'd come over here and try to forgive them, I know that sounds crazy," Fuller explains.
Eric Fuller survived a bullet to the knee, but he says that he knows the parents of Jared Lee Loughner are also suffering, and he wants them to know he doesn't hold a grudge.
Loughner's parents didn't come out. We spoke with Eric Fuller when he got home.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret asks, "Why did you go the Loughner's?"
"I wanted to start with an apology," says Fuller
Moret asks, "Wait a minute, you want to apologize?"
Fuller responds, "Yes, because I said mean things about their son."
Fuller had told reporters that Loughner was an "unhinged lunatic." Loughner's parents never came out to speak to Fuller.
