The Olympic swimmer has been known to have a rambunctious past.

Following his landmark Olympics in London in 2012, Lochte headed to Las Vegas to celebrate and ended up swimming with Prince Harry.

Harry, who's fifth in line to the British throne, happened to be staying at the MGM Grand Hotel, which boasts one of the wildest pool scenes in Sin City.

In 2012, Lochte told Inside Edition: "They're like, 'do you want to meet Prince Harry?' I'm like, by all means of course.'"

The party prince challenged the Olympic gold medal winner to a race.

“This is once in a lifetime, I get to race Prince Harry,” Lochte said. “I was surprised that he challenged me. I didn't know if he had any skills in the pool. He was a great competitor but in the end it was Team USA all the way to the wall.”

For Prince Harry, it would be a weekend to forget after nude photos of the royal surfaced and were printed around the world.

Lochte, like Harry, also had a party in his room but made the smart move of confiscating the phones of attendees.

“I just tried my best to make sure, no cameras no nothing,” Lochte said.

After conflicting reports about his Rio robbery claims surfaced, police are saying he and three other swim teammates are lying about their assault that they claim occurred after a night of partying.
