Sheriff's detectives in Los Angeles County, California, are on the hunt for a woman they suspect kidnapped her niece and nephews after the murder of the children's mother.
The body of Kimberly Harvill was found August 14 in Lebec after she had suffered apparent head trauma. Detectives are now in search of her half-sister, Brittany Humphrey as well as a man, Joshua Robertson, who they want to question in connection with the murder.
Harvill's body had been dumped along a road in Lebec, CBSLA reports.
Police are now on the hunt for Humphrey and Robertson, who are suspected of kidnapping Harvill's kids: Ryle Watkins, 5, Brayden Watkins, 3, and Joslynn Watkins, 2.
Robertson and Humphrey are believed to be driving Harvill’s 1999 Ford Expedition, possibly with California license plate, 7BEK024.
However, the vehicle may also have temporary, paper license plates.
Joshua Robertson is on Post Release Community Supervision and has a previous arrest for possession of a firearm, LASD said in a release. Robertson and Humphrey are also wanted for questioning in Harvill’s death.
The children have been listed in law enforcement databases as "Missing Persons at Risk."
