Hillary Clinton is in the hot seat once again, but this time as a target of comic Zach Galifianakis on his hit satire web talk show, Between Two Ferns.
The host began by walking onto the set in a mask as if he was going to attack Clinton. He was quickly whisked away by security and Secret Service before pulling the mask off to reveal who he was.
“Not a smart move,” Clinton said.
Once the two sat between the two ferns, they discussed a variety of topics including Donald Trump, her health issues during the campaign and Chelsea Clinton’s friendship with Ivanka Trump.
The comedian asked her: “When you see how well it works for Donald Trump, do you ever think to yourself, ‘Oh, maybe I should be more racist’?”
She didn’t answer, but did grin at the question.
During the intentionally awkward interview, Galifianakis asked her: "Are you excited to be the first girl president?"
Clinton tried to answer as diplomatically as she could, but the host cut her off.
He also asked: For a younger, younger generation, you will also become their first white president, and that's pretty neat, too… How does President Obama like his coffee? Like himself? Weak?”
“You know, Zach, those are really out-of-date questions. You need to get out more,” she said
He also played a word from his sponsor, rolling a Trump campaign ad.
As the 6-minute interview came to an end, he asked her: “Well this has been a lot of fun Mrs. Clinton. We should stay in touch. What's the best way to reach you? Email?”
