"Donald Trump called her 'Miss Piggy' and 'Miss Housekeeping'," the tweet read. "Her name is Alicia Machado."

So, who is Alicia Machado?

The Venezuela native spoke to INSIDE EDITION last month, when she revealed that she's recently become a U.S. citizen and intends to vote for Clinton in November.

"This is a very important election," she said. "For my daughter, my country, and to [exercise] my right to vote. The United States is in a very important moment and we need to take the power to go and vote."

In May, she told Inside Edition that Trump "is not a good person." She claimed he bullied her "all the time."

Machado says Trump accused her of gaining 40 pounds after being crowned Miss Universe in 1996 when she was 19 years old.

She also claims Trump made her work out to drop the extra pounds, and called her "Miss Piggy" in private.

Clinton echoed Machado's sentiments in Monday's debate.

"He called this woman 'Miss Piggy,' then he called her 'Miss Housekeeping' because she was Latina," Clinton continued. "Donald, she has a name. Her name is Alicia Machado. And she has become a US citizen and you can bet she is going to vote this November."

Trump also spoke about the issue after leaving the debate stage. On Tuesday morning, he was asked about it during a call-in to Fox and Friends and replied that, indeed, he believed Machado had gained weight following the pageant.

"I know that person. That person was a Miss Universe person," Trump said. "And she was the worst we ever had, the worst, the absolute worst, she was impossible," he said. "She gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem. We had a real problem. Not only that, her attitude."
