A New Hampshire man has been arrested after cops say he assaulted a grocery store employee while declaring he was a vampire.
Police say 21-year-old Jacob May approached a store employee Tuesday as she took trash to a Dumpster in Concord on Tuesday.
May then allegedly claimed he was a vampire and began running toward her.
The employee ran inside the store for help as May allegedly screamed, "just touch me, I can save you," according to a Concord Police Department statement.
"A male co-worker arrived at which time the intruder attempted to punch him, initiating a fight between the two," the statement said.
Cops say the male co-worker grabbed a box cutter and told May to stay back, at which point May ran into a walk-in freezer.
Police arrived a short time later, at which point the officer said May told them he was a "vampire, Ghost Rider, Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Mr. Miyagi from The Karate Kid, and a leader of a band."
Police also say May appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Police also identified May as a suspect in a home invasion two days prior. He has been charged with burglary and simple assault.
