Do some Hatchimals have a potty mouth?
Several owners of the holiday season's hottest toy are posting videos they claim prove their Hatchimals are uttering “f*** me” instead of "hug me."
Charles and Patty Crispell say their daughter's Hatchimal has a foul mouth.
“It's definitely saying something that's inappropriate for kids,” the shocked father told Inside Edition.
The parents claim that as soon as their daughter’s toy hatched it started using foul language.
Even their 9-year-old daughter Sarah says it's a word that no kid should ever use.
“It doesn't say nice things,” she said.
"Hatchimals communicate by speaking their own unique language, which is made of up of random sounds," the toy's manufacturer, Spin Master, said in a statement. "We can assure consumers that Hatchimals do not curse, nor do they use foul language."
Other owners are also complaining that their Hatchimals are already dying, just days after Christmas.
There is a Facebook page dedicated to it called: "Dead Hatchimal Owners United."
The new controversy comes on the heels of complaints that some Hatchimals didn't even hatch. The company addressed those complaints by providing online video tips on how to get the Hatchimal to open.
