Ever since little Stanley was 10 days old, Timothy Jones, of Jonesmrjones Photography, has taken a photo a month of his son sitting in a chair next to their 6-year-old beagle, Jasper.

"Their relationship has come on amazingly," Jones told "When we first brought Stanley home, Jasper was very curious about him. He was always sniffing around him and interested in what he was doing."

As Stanley grew up, as documented in Jones' 24 photo project "Beagle and the Boy," the pair developed a special connection.

From going on walks, to bath time, to occasional kisses, the pup and boy are always together.

"Stan sees Jasper as his friend, and definitely one of the family," Jones said.
