Has fame ripped apart the family of Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers?
When the hero quarterback made a stunning sideline pass that led to the game-winning field goal against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, all his fans cheered, but his parents weren't in Arlington, Texas, to see it happen at the AT&T Stadium.
Rodgers hasn't spoken to his family since 2014 and he doesn't want to say why.
The family squabble came to light when his brother, Jordan, appeared as a contestant on The Bachelorette and told JoJo Fletcher that she wasn't likely to meet his brother.
The rift reportedly started when the quarterback started dating the actress Olivia Munn in 2014.
"Fame can change things," the NFL star’s father, Edward Wesley Rodgers, told The New York Times in a story over the weekend.
When asked about the rift in his family, the football player told reporters Thursday: “I just don’t think it’s appropriate talking about family stuff publicly.”
It is unknown if the family watched Rodgers’ victory Sunday.
