"Hal loves the snow," said Katie Blaser, of the 13-year-old miniature horse that lives in her backyard.

In a video licensed by Caters News, Hal could be seen skipping around Blaser's snowy backyard as his chestnut coat became covered in snow.

"He's been doing this for years. We've had him for about seven years and anytime we get snow in Portland, he just has a ball," Blaser told InsideEdition.com.

She explained that she has been a horse lover all her life, and after she and her husband moved into a home with a big backyard, "Why not get a miniature horse?"
