Sean Spicer is letting his feelings known about Melissa McCarthy after she made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live to impersonate the President Trump's press secretary.
The Bridesmaids actress is receiving praise by critics for her impression of the sometimes caustic White House spokesman.
Spicer told Extra Sunday that her impression was “funny,” but said she “could dial it back.”
In the skit, McCarthy chews a massive amount of Orbit gum, to which Spicer commented that she “needs to slow down on the gum chewing; way too many pieces in there."
His comments came on Sunday Bowl Sunday, as he tuned in to the big game.
He also told Fox News that her impression “was cute; it’s funny,” adding, “I’d rather us talk about the issues that the president is so committed to helping Americans on. It’s part of American culture.”
The iconic sketch comedy show turned McCarthy's impression into GIFs.
Even funnyman Seth McFarlane praised the impression.
