Lorde Chastised on Twitter After People Say She Was Busting Moves like Elaine from 'Seinfeld'

She was performing new music from her upcoming album, 'Melodrama.'

While Lorde debuted some new material on Saturday Night Live, her wild, hair-flinging dance during her performance of "Green Light" had everybody talking, and drawing some comparisons to Elaine's "little kicks" dance on Seinfeld.

Fans took to Twitter to ridicule the New Zealand singer by posting jokes about the routine online.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who famously portrayed Elaine, has not commented on Lorde’s moves, but took the opportunity to share a video of her character's ridiculous dance, but for a different reason.

After her son, Charlie Hall, made it to the NCAA tournament with Northwestern University’s men’s basketball team, she tweeted the iconic move from Seinfeld with the caption: “We're going to the dance, boys!"
