Puppies for Police! Officer Finds Three Abandoned Little Mutts, Fellow Cops Take Them Home

The officer was patrolling an abandoned subdivision when three puppies popped up.

Three abandoned puppies got dragged into a police station, where they were quickly adopted by three dog-loving officers.

Georgia State Patrol trooper Jordan Ennis found the miniature mutts in a briar patch in an abandoned neighborhood known to be a dropping point for stolen cars.

“He knew no one was coming for them, so he and his K-9, Tek, brought the puppies to headquarters where they were all promptly adopted,” read a post on the department’s Facebook page.

“A trooper never knows what he may encounter on a shift, but a day with puppies is a good day.”

It was also an especially good day for the pups. Not only did they get rescued, they got a ride in a patrol car, under the watchful gaze of Ennis’ partner, Tek, a determined-looking German shepherd.
