Three abandoned puppies got dragged into a police station, where they were quickly adopted by three dog-loving officers.
Georgia State Patrol trooper Jordan Ennis found the miniature mutts in a briar patch in an abandoned neighborhood known to be a dropping point for stolen cars.
“He knew no one was coming for them, so he and his K-9, Tek, brought the puppies to headquarters where they were all promptly adopted,” read a post on the department’s Facebook page.
“A trooper never knows what he may encounter on a shift, but a day with puppies is a good day.”
It was also an especially good day for the pups. Not only did they get rescued, they got a ride in a patrol car, under the watchful gaze of Ennis’ partner, Tek, a determined-looking German shepherd.
