"Needless to say, I have learned a great deal from this experience," Kevin said in a lighthearted statement one day after he nearly clinched the Wheel win.

But instead of walking away in triumph, Kevin became a viral sensation when he needed to guess one last letter to spell out the name of the famed Tennessee Willilams play, A Streetcar Named Desire.

But instead of "Named," Kevin made the streetcar "Naked."

"It has taught me how to embrace embarrassment and failure with a smile," Kevin's statement continued. "And yes, it has taught me the correct title of that famous 1947 Broadway play."

Kevin's flub had everyone cracking jokes, even Pat Sajak. After Kevin's opponent correctly solved the puzzle, the host quipped: "Although you got the right answer, I’d rather see Kevin's play, but that's just me."

Though he didn't win, Kevin still went home with $1,000 and a place in America's heart, albiet for the wrong reasons. But that hasn't gotten him down a bit.

"I am happy I brought so many smiles to you all, and so I will smile with you and look back onto this moment and join you in the laughs. That my friends, is the naked truth."
