OBGYN Dr. Sheryl Ross told Inside Edition: “Serena is the greatest athlete of all time, so, she is not going to experience too many problems during pregnancy in general.”

Her statement comes after the 35-year-old tennis icon revealed she is 20 weeks pregnant.

Williams posted an image on Snapchat Wednesday announcing to the world that she and fiance, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, are expecting their first child together.

Her rep confirmed the news: "Serena is expecting a baby in the fall."

Williams will miss the rest of the 2017 tennis season, but she's expected back on the court next year to compete for the dual role of greatest tennis player in the world and a mom.

“Usually the first trimester, the first 12 weeks, women feel not so great," Dr. Ross said. "They are tired, they are nauseous."

That didn't appear to affect Williams, who beat her own sister Venus to win the Australian Open in January when she was eight weeks pregnant.
