Donald Trump Reacts to Recent Presidential Poll Results

INSIDE EDITION talks to Donald Trump about recent presidential polls and his latest thoughts on making a run for the White House.

Donald Trump is speaking out about a new poll that shows him trailing President Obama in a 2012 run for the White House.

The poll was just released by Rasmussen Reports. It shows Obama with 49 percent of likely voters to Trump's 34 percent.

But polls also show Trump leading the pack for the Republican presidential nomination and he sounded like a candidate at a Florida Tea Party rally over the weekend.

"We have a man, right now, that almost certainly will go down as the worst president in U.S history," Trump told the crowd.

He also called out Mitt Romney, a potential GOP rival. The New York Post says "$ize Matters," because Trump claims he's much richer than Romney.

"My net worth is many, many, many times Mitt Romney," Trump said on CNN.

INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander caught up with Trump at a news conference for his hit show Celebrity Apprentice. Actor Gary Busey was the latest to get the boot.

"Should a presidential candidate be decided on their wallet size?" Alexander asked him.

"No not exclusively. All it is is an indicator. I have had tremendous success and have done a great job with biusness and as a company. Frankly, if I run, I will have to disclose financials and when I disclose my financials I can tell you people are going to be very, very impressed. I have done a good job," said Trump.

If Trump does run, Celebrity Apprentice would have to be shelved by NBC because of the FCC Equal Times rule.

But The New York Times quotes an unnamed NBC executive saying he doubts Trump will actually run for president and "This is Donald being Donald."

"I know one thing, they are hoping that I am not going to run, but we will see what happens," said Trump.
