The NYPD has warned of massive gridlock and street closures all around the city throughout the day.

Protests are expected to happen around Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue and around the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, where Trump will have dinner with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

The black-tie dinner marks the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea, when Australia and the U.S. joined forces to defeat the Japanese in the Pacific during World War II.

Trump and Turnbull are looking to patch up their relationship following their tumultuous phone call they had shortly after the real estate mogul became president.

The two world leaders got into a heated disagreement over a refugee agreement between the nations. The call, which was expected to last an hour, was only 25 minutes long after Trump abruptly ended it, later reportedly saying, “This was the worst call by far."

Following the visit, the president will spend the weekend at the Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, N.J.
