Donald Trump took to his favorite social media platform early Friday morning to vent his frustration at some of the current events his name has been attached to.
Calling himself “a very active president with lots of things happening,” he said “the fake media is working overtime today” and threatened to cancel all future press briefings.

As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 12, 2017
...Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future "press briefings" and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 12, 2017
Trump also slammed former FBI Director James Comey, whom he fired earlier this week.
Sources close to Comey told The New York Times that the president asked the former FBI director for a pledge of loyalty during a dinner at the White House. Comey declined, telling Trump he would be "honest" with the president.
In an extraordinary tweet, Trump warned: "James Comey better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!"

The president ripped Comey Thursday while speaking with NBC News anchor Lester Holt in the White House.
“He is a showboat, he is a grandstander,” he said of the ousted former bureau boss. “The FBI has been in great turmoil — you know that, I know that, everybody knows that. You take a look at the FBI a year ago, it was virtual turmoil — less than a year ago. It hasn’t recovered from that.”
He was also asked about his letter firing Comey in which he wrote, “I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation.”
"I had a dinner with him, he wanted to have dinner because he wanted to stay on," Trump said. "A dinner was arranged — I think he asked for the dinner. He said it once at dinner, and then he said it twice during phone calls."
