Seth MacFarlane Talks New Fox Sci-Fi Show, Says It's Not 'Family Guy' in Space

'The X-Files' and 'Empire' will both return.

Seth MacFarlane introduced his new show, an apparent spoof of Star Trek, at the Fox upfronts on Monday.

MacFarlane declined to provide much detail on the plot of The Orville, but did tell Inside Edition: "It’s not Family Guy in space. It’s something that’s kind of its own beast."
