The honeymoon has started for Pippa Middleton and her husband after Saturday’s big wedding at her parents’ English estate.

The newlyweds were spotted at Los Angeles International Airport less than 24 hours after their nuptials.

Middleton and husband, James Matthews, chatted with fellow travelers as they made their way through customs.

They flew overnight from London to Los Angeles and were on their way to the French Polynesian island of Tetiaroa, which is 30 miles north of Tahiti. The private island was once owned by screen legend Marlon Brando.

There's speculation the newlyweds will stay at the ultra-luxurious resort known as “The Brando," where a one-bedroom villa costs $4,000 per night.

Middleton's wedding dress is also making international headlines. The $52,000 gown, which had a high neck and cap sleeves, is getting glowing reviews.

Fear that her older sister, Duchess Catherine, would upstage the bride turned out to be unfounded. Instead, it was her adorable children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who captured everyone's attention at Saturday’s wedding.

“It wasn’t a royal wedding but the level of expectation and buildup wasn’t that dissimilar to a royal wedding. Being the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, Pippa, really became a celebrity overnight in 2011,” Royal Author and Commentator Katie Nichol told Inside Edition. “People were delighted to see her get married and go back to Buckleberry where her family lives, where she grew up.”

Prince Harry attended the church service solo but he was later spotted driving his girlfriend, Meghan Markle, to the reception.

Nichol added that guests drank expensive Champaign and there was a whiskey bar at the wedding.
