Amal, 39, gave birth to a boy and girl on Tuesday morning, a rep for the couple has confirmed.

“This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives,” Stan Rosenfield, a rep for the couple, said in a statement. “Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.”

“George is sedated and should recover in a few days,” Rosenfield added in jest.

George and Amal are expected to raise their little ones at a sprawling estate in the English countryside. Last Saturday, President Obama paid a visit to the Clooney’s at the estate.

The 56-year-old actor famously told People magazine in 2006 that he never wanted kids and even swore off marriage following his 1993 divorce from his first wife, Talia Balsam.

But that all changed when the Ocean's 11 star met British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin in 2013. The couple married a year later in Venice, Italy.

On The Talk Tuesday, Chen said she "can't wait" to see the baby pictures of the newborns.

Ella and Alexander are the first children for both parents.
