Dedicated Dad Pictured Walking Daughter to First Day of Kindergarten and Last Day of High School

Many pointed out that her father has apparently never aged.

A high school senior shared a touching photo of her father walking her to school on her last day of high school, recreating an image they snapped 13 years ago, on her first day of kindergarten.

Jason Gayler of Alvord, Texas, walked his daughter, Brittany, to her first day of kindergarten when she was 5. Now 18 and finishing high school, he accompanied her again.

She posted the image on Twitter at the end of May where it has gained nationwide attention.

“We found the picture and just decided that we were gonna do it over again just for memories,” she told Inside Edition.

“I was all for it,” she added. “Me and my dad just have that kind of relationship. He's my best friend.”

Social media went crazy over the photo, where it has been shared more than 14,000 times on Twitter and liked more than 63,000 times.

Many pointed out how her dad has apparently not aged a day since the original photo.

“I've never gotten that many compliments or questions about my skincare,” he joked.
