Beyonce and Jay Z Welcome Twins, Just in Time for Father's Day

They were reportedly born at a Los Angeles hospital.

Beyoncé and Jay Z have welcomed their twins, just in time for Father’s Day.

 “Happy Birthday to the twins, Love Grandad."  Beyoncé’s dad, Mathew Knowles, tweeted Sunday.

Sources told E! News that the star gave birth in Los Angeles, but the gender of the babies remains unknown.

Many reports have speculated that she was carrying a boy and a girl, but rumors swirled about two girls being born after remarks made by President Obama last week. 

The exact date of the twins' birth was not immediately clear, but E! News reported that Jay-Z and Beyoncé were spotted at a Los Angeles hospital Thursday.

Beyoncé, 35, announced her pregnancy in February on Instagram.

"We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. The Carters," she said in the post.

The couple already has a 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
