Angelina is the daughter of Wenjian Liu, who was shot dead along with his partner Rafael Ramos in their patrol car on December 20, 2014 while parked on a Brooklyn street.

At the time of her husband's death, doctors asked Sanny if she wanted to collect his sperm and freeze it so she could have his child one day. At the time, they were married only about three months.

Angelina was born at Weill Cornell Hospital and the NYPD 46th Precinct shared a photo on Twitter of the mother and her new daughter.
