Cheetahs may be one of the fastest animals in the world, but this new mom clearly just wants to slow down.
In a video shared by the Prague Zoo, five cheetah cubs born earlier this summer could be seen climbing, crawling on and nuzzling with their mom, 6-year-old Savannah.
Zookeepers say the quintuplets – three males and two females – are doing well following their birth.
The species is vulnerable to disease in the first few months of life, but zookeepers say they have passed the most critical point of their development.
The quintuplet cubs will be placed on public display later this month, and their birth makes a significant contribution in repopulating the species, which has been threatened with extinction in the wild.
