A teenage Missouri girl allegedly shot her father before fleeing the scene with her 10-year-old brother.
Authorities with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department say the teen fired on her dad Sept. 17, striking him in the back of the head.
The 16-year-old, who has not been named, then fled the home with her brother, cops said.
The two were reportedly missing for days as authorities and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children asked the community to be on the lookout for 10-year-old Tyron Pembrook-Hagood.
Authorities said it was likely the girl was armed and that Pembrook-Hagood was not considered a suspect, but police wanted to find him to find out more about the shooting.
Later, cops said the children were found at about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Neighbors told KMOV the father is listed in critical but stable condition at a St. Louis hospital.
