A mini-mart owner found a massive safe in the back of his store in Ann Arbor, Michigan, when he moved in. The building once housed a jewelry store and a bank.
So, the owner hired a towing company to break it open.
First they tried a blowtorch, then they tried to tear the safe open with a crane.
Slowly it began to come apart, and after six hours of labor the safe finally opened.
So what was inside? A million dollars cash? Gold? Diamonds?
The guys did find two small opals, valued at about $400. It was hardly the treasure trove that everyone had hoped to find.
